About Mardi Gras

The Rotary Club of Independence annually hosts a fun-filled Mardi Gras Gala. This event benefits a local non-profit organization, carefully selected by Rotary. We are delighted that this year, it's Music/Arts Institute. Our organization will not only receives a generous amount of funds raised at this iconic event, which will be transformative for MAI, but it also helps share our unique and powerful story to our community.

Mardi Gras is a celebration of service and an opportunity to bring attention to the cause at hand. All are invited to purchase tickets, sponsor the event or donate auction items to help support the chosen organization.

Support the Gala

Attend. The easiest (and most fun!) way to support the gala is to attend! Buy an individual ticket or purchase a table for your and your friends. You can do that at https://thcf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/list/event?event_date_id=3805.
Sponsor. We also have many sponsorship levels available. We’d love to partner with your business or organization to support MAI! Learn more at musicartsintitute.org/sponsors.
Donate. You can make a general donation to MAI at any time. For this event, we’re also seeking auction items for bidders both at home and at the event. (Watch for ways to participate the week of the gala!) Items can be big or small, and it can be anything you would be proud to gift. Tickets, passes, airline miles, nice (new) gifts that aren't your style, that amazing item you got on clearance that you forgot to return, sports memorabilia you wouldn't mind out of your closet, etc. We will creatively group donations to ensure awesome auction packages, so even if you're not sure if we could use it, please reach out!
