MAI Student Honored by Rotary

Breana Smith, Truman high School, was named Student of the Month by the Independence Rotary Club. 

A vocal student of Sam Carroll, Breana is the only MAI student named to the All-State Choir. She is a member of Trutones at Truman, National Honor Society, and is a KC Scholar ($50,000 college scholarship). She was one of the Starlight Stars and won a blue Star Award, She plans to attend college to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre with a minor in dance.
