Susan Lundquist

Susan is a well-known pianist and accompanist in the Independence area. Recently she has been an accompanist for the Independence School District.

A graduate of Drury University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, she has done additional study at the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance, St. Paul’s School of Theology, as well as Drury.

In addition to her music career, Susan has served on the staff of the First Christian Church as a youth minister, worked at United Way, managed the Volunteer Center as a patient advocate and manager of government volunteers for many years before returning to her first love of music. 

Besides being an accompanist for the school district, she is also on the music staff at the First Christian Church, where she is a fourth generation member.
