Minor Garrett
Minor Garrett has taught low Brass at Music/Arts Institute from 1990-1997 and again from 2011 - Present; is currently Principle Trombone with Heritage Philharmonic for more than 20 years, and was Staff Trombonist for Atlantic Express from 1991-2005.
Minor Garrett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education & Performance from Southwest Missouri State University and and a Master's Degree in Performance & Acoustics from the University of Missouri.
Minor has performed or toured with: St. Louis Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, One MO Time, The Four Tops, Barry Manilow, Bob Hope and Ringling Brother & Barnum & Bailey Circus.
He has also served as Music Director for Productions with: Blue Springs City Theater, Independence Theater, Wyandotte Theater, Barn Players and Bell Road Barn Theater.
