James Taylor

James Taylor is a percussionist and composer based in Kansas City, Missouri. Particularly passionate about contemporary music, James has been a part of numerous commissioning projects across the country as both a composer and performer. He has also performed with professional orchestras such as the Sioux City Symphony and Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. As an educator, he has taught around the KC metro area working with high school and collegiate percussionists. James holds degrees in percussion performance and composition from the University of Missouri, Kansas City - Conservatory of Music.
