Rebecca Livingston - Flute

Photo of RebeccaMrs. Livingston is an alumna of Music/Arts Institute®. Her flute teachers have included: Elaine Moore-Brown, Debbie Campo and Pam Morris, and she has studied piano with Wayne Smith.

After graduation from Truman High School in 1989, she attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she studied Music Education with the assistance of a music scholarship awarded by the Independence Music Club.

In January 1992, she transferred to William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, where she received her Music Performance degree in 1993. At that time, she was chosen as one of four winners in the Young Artist Competition. Since graduation, she has taught privately, and in 1998 she joined the Music/Arts faculty—fulfilling a dream of teaching in a facility where so many great teachers and music students come together.
