MAI® Junior Festival
Saturday, February 2nd, was the 1st Annual Junior Festival. This event, which was free and opened to the public, prepared many of our younger students for more formal adjudication experiences.
Faculty Recitals
Faculty Recitals returned to MAI® during the 2007-2008 academic year! Teachers performed solo, duet or small ensembles as well as explored a variety of literature. Dates were February 3rd and April 13th, 2008.
Prof. Ann Harrell Masterclass
Prof. Ann Harrell, Associate Professor of Voice and Voice Area Coordinator of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Music conducted a Vocal Masterclass on the morning of February 16th, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. to noon. It was open to the public and all MAI® students were encouraged to attend. The Masterclass was free as this event was brought in part by a gift from Sigma Alpha Iota-Kansas City Alumnae Chapter.
